Plant Identification Fieldwork Pack

A free, printable fieldwork resource for ages 8 to 16. Pupils survey plants in a school ground, park or other outdoor space, photograph and record identifying features, compare species richness, assess confidence and uncertainty, and investigate whether plants are native or introduced. The six sheet pack includes differentiated prompts for younger and older pupils plus a teacher guide with learning objectives, timings and curriculum links. It can be used in one lesson, requires no app or account, and is free to copy, adapt and share under a CC BY 4.0 licence.
